Conferences and other events of ​​project management with our participation

In response to positive attendees' feedback about our series of project and programme management conferences, seminars & workshops we conducted another one on 1.-2.3.2012 in Bratislava, Slovakia - the POTIFOB Project Management Day 2012.

The core topics of this conference were:

  • Selected aspects of the PRINCE2 & IPMA international project management standards and examples of their successful application in practice
  • How OGC's new value management best practice standard MoV can be used to achieve more value with less resourses than before
  • What professional tools are there to help one assess project managers' skills, their pre-dispositions for this role as well their personal and professional development directions besides the classical 360 degree assessment, how do they work and why they should be of interest for managers
  • What can coaching be good for in project and programme management.

The speakers were again formed a balanced mix of renowned experts and practitioners from Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic and Slovakia, representing the consultant, trainer and user views.

This year's keynote speaker was Mr. Lieven Cornelis, President & CEO of Alert Management Consultants, Belgium, Lead Author of Koan-PM and other unique skill capability assessment tools for project management professionals.

The conference was moderated and the panel discussion led by Mr. Štefan Ondek, PMP, Managing Director of POTIFOB.
