Registration process for PMI PMP or CAPM certification

1. Sign up on the official PMI website www.pmi.org.

Each candidate must fulfill the application personally.
 

2. Fill out the application.


according to the instructions (CAPM or PMP ) :

You can choose the method of filling the application form : Online - recommend / or in paper form for the PMP or CAPM exam.

Online application can not be canceled once you start filling it . You can fill continuously , but no later than 90 days from the start of filling .

We recommend to fill out in the application a valid e - mail address, because it is the primary method of communication by the PMI.

In the application you must provide detailed information about your education and experience in project management . What exactly is required you can find in our comparison.

 

3. Send the completed form according to the instructions to PMI for review.

In the case of online application assessment takes approx. 5 days from the date of submition , if you will send the paper version it takes approx . 10-20 days from the date of delivery.

PMI has the right to request an application audit on a random basis. In this case, you must sent to PMI all relevant documents about education and practice within 90 days from audit request. Audit takes approx . 5-7 days.

Once the candidate fills out an application, he/ she will be informed about the process of signing up for the exam.
 

4. After approval of the application you need to pay fee for the certification exam.

CAPM :

at 21.10. 2017 the fee for PMI members was $ 225
at 21.10. 2017 the fee for non-members was PMI $ 300

PMP :

at  21.10. 2017 the fee for PMI members was $ 405
at 21.10. 2017 the fee for non-members was PMI $ 555


The certification exam must be completed within 1 year from the date of payment. You can choose place and date of exam after the payment by credit card.

CAPM and PMP exam is in the electronic form in English . It consists of 150 questions in the case of CAPM exam and 200 questions in the case of PMP exam . You have 3 hours for the CAPM exam and 4 hours for the PMP exam .
 

5. Exams can be taken in the official PMI Prometric centers (testing centers).


You can choose Prometric centre through PMI web application after approval your exam application by PMI.
